This comes via member Tom L., if you can make this meeting in three  
hours (3:00pm), it's at NYU on the proposed film permitting  
procedures for the City of NY:

The  communications office at the NYCLU got back to me and they are  
sending
     someone today to document the case of independent filmmakers,  
community
     media groups and film schools regarding the proposed public filming
     rules.

This will be at the LGBT Community Center at 208 W 13th Street (btwn  
7th Ave
     - Greenwich) on Friday, July 6th at 3pm. Ask for Richard Davis  
when you
     arrive or the Film Permit Meeting.
     Please forward this to contacts at community media groups, film  
school departments and independent filmmakers.
