[Digistorytellers] Audio Sync problem w/ Capture

Hi,

I'm Capturing Now from a MiniDV tape (from 1998)
via Firewire on a Sony Camcorder (from 2001)
and it's fine as I watch it during capture

Upon viewing the clip in the project and
sequence, the audio sync is off throughout

I know when I identify the clip in FCP it says
its audio rate is 32KHz, so these are what I set
in Capture and Sequence settings

I've done all the basic checklist of dropped frame safeguards,
put Canvas to small, diabled File Sharing, stopped running all
other apps

I've tried Apple/FCP Forum so far and
still isn't working and am degragmenting disks
w/ Disk Warrior right now

I have captured 3 tapes from the shoot (60 minutes) each
and all have the same Audio Sync issue

Any advice is greatly appreciated
